Membership
Membership in the Silver Spurs Alumni Association is limited only to former members of the Silver Spurs, a student service organization at The University of Texas at Austin. All former members of the Silver Spurs are eligible for membership and encouraged to join.
Your membership dues directly support the activities of the active Silver Spurs on campus by paying such expenses as:
- Administration
- Website hosting
- Database management
- Insurance
- Fundraising Events
- Meeting Expenses
Historically we have collected $50 annually from our members, but recently the board voted to include a "Life Membership" option for $500, much like Texas Exes. Life Members will be displayed on a plaque inside the BEVO center in the football stadium as well as on the website.
Those of us who feel compelled to give back even more to the organization we all benefited so greatly from also have the opportunity to donate to the BEVO Endowment, directly supporting the expenses associated with BEVO as well as scholarships and our philanthropies across campus.
